With effect from January 1srt, 2018, Dr.-Ing. André Springer followed the call of the University of Applied Sciences Ostwestfalen to become a professor in the field of production and economics. There, he is responsible for the teaching area "Digital Manufacturing / Additive Manufacturing with Production Orientation".

For a total of 10 years, Dr.-Ing. André Springer was working in the Materials and Processes Department at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH). In 2007, immediately after successfully completing his studies in materials science at the Technical University of Clausthal, he began working as a scientific employee in the Joining and Cutting of Metals Group. 

New head of group: Sarah Nothdurft

Dipl.-Ing. Sarah Nothdurft is the new head of the Joining and Cutting of Metals Group. She has been working in this group as a scientific employee since 2013. Sarah Nothdurft has studied mechanical engineering at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover and received her diploma in 2013.
