After six months at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH), one thing is certain for Tabea Karg and Linda Thies: they would recommend the Niedersachsen-Technikum to all high school graduates with an interest in the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
The Niedersachsen-Technikum (Lower Saxony Technical Studies) is aimed at high school graduate girls with an interest in the STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). During the 6-months program, they can find out if a scientific-technical career meets their interests.
A friend told Tabea Karg about the program, and Linda Thies heard about it at a school event. From September 2018 to February 2019, the two completed their Niedersachsen-Technikum at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH). Every week, they spent four days at the LZH and one day at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover.
