At the SPIE Photonics West, the LZH scientist Sven Hochheim was awarded 3^rd place for his research results and presentation in the "LASE 2020 Best Paper Award" for doctoral students.

The title of his talk was "Single-frequency chirally-coupled-core all-fiber amplifier with 100 W in a linearly-polarized TEM⁰⁰-mode".

20 scientists from the LZH took part in the SPIE Photonics West, presented their research work and discussed the current trends with the community.
