In addition to assistance for internationalization, the European Commission's current program period focuses primarily on the topics of sustainability, digitalization, and resilience. One company that has already successfully made use of the services of the EEN Lower Saxony is Klasmann-Deilmann GmbH. The company from Lower Saxony is the leading group in the international substrate industry with numerous sales and production companies in Europe, Asia, and America.
To develop further resources, Klasmann-Deilmann was looking for locations worldwide. The EEN Lower Saxony was able to help the company in this endeavor. Through Latvian and Lithuanian network colleagues, contact was established with Baltic partners, and funding was obtained to set up and operate production facilities.
