In particular in the aerospace sector, the use of continuous fiber reinforced composites based on thermoplastic matrix materials is becoming increasingly interesting. Key reasons for this are the excellent stiffness and flame retardant characteristics in conjunction with the applicability of welding technology. In this context, a new generation of lining panels was developed, suitable for applications e.g. within the cargo area of civil aircrafts.
