Abstract
Femtosecond laser-induced processes on a gold film surface can be applied for the liquid phase material transfer in the form of nanodroplets. The size of the transferred structures is significantly lower than the size of the laser beam focus on the sample surface. Using this approach, spherical gold nanodroplets with varied radius have been controllably transferred onto a glass substrate. Possibilities for applications of this technique for the laser-induced fabrication of complex gold nanostructures is discussed.
