The Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. attaches high importance to compliance with scientific quality standards in research. To avoid dishonesty and fraud, the Laser Zentrum Hannover has established a two-stage procedure for self control. If there are suspicions regarding scientific misconduct, members and staff of the Laser Zentrum Hannover can contact a mediator who will conduct a preliminary investigation of the allegations. If the suspicion is substantiated, the case will be reviewed by an independent investigation committee. All available information will be taken into account and the persons involved will have the opportunity to present their points of view. If the allegations are substantiated, the institute`s management takes appropriate sanction measures.
