Short-Bio
Diploma study of mechanical engineering at the Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) until 2013.
Richard Stähr has been working at Laser Zentrum Hannover e. V. since 2012, initially as a research assistant and later as a research associate. Since 2024, he has been heading the Composites Group in the Sustainable Production Department.

- Laser material processing Drilling, cutting, welding, surface ablation and functionalization of unreinforced and fiber-reinforced plastics
- Development of automation solutions for laser machining processes
- Development of solutions for process control and regulation for quality assurance in laser processes
