Short-Bio
Dual course of study in general mechanical engineering at DHBW Heidenheim and Robert Bosch GmbH in Nuremberg, graduating as B. Eng. in 2017. Master's degree at Leibniz University Hannover in the field of general mechanical engineering, specializing in construction and development, graduating as M. Sc. in 2020.
In 2020, Nick Schwarz joined the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. as a research associate in the SAM - School for Additive Manufacturing scholarship program of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture (MWK). From 2023 to 2024, he led the Machines and Controls Group.
Since 2025, Nick Schwarz has been the head of the Additive Manufacturing Department.
